The problem is that you're question isn't going to resolve anything, but for argument's sake, TRS2004

Most threads I've seen of this subject degenerate into TRS 2004 vs. TRS 2006, and basically people running around with their notions of superiority (due to which version they use). This thread certainly won't solve the issue "Once and for all" but, don't let me stop you.

Here's hoping....

Hopefully TRS2009 will be so new feature rich, & fully backwards compatible for TRS2006/TRS2004 contents, routes/layouts that we will all go out and buy TRS2009 so we can all get on the same page.............(wouldn't that be really great)??????
That's the earliest I personally can see the current 04 vs 06 dilemma being solved...

Probably because of the gross[Gross- Dictionary.com] amount of content available in it. I do agree that there is a limited amount of reinstalled content in Classics, but there is away to merge Trainz 2006 with Classics, as in transfer all the content.

i dosn't matter what version of trainz you're running.
it all comes down to what sort of computer you got.
that's my opinion anyway,my 06 and VISTA runs like a clock.
