On both computers

Hello everyone im new here

And i have decided to post my first thread about trainz on both computers.

What i mean is if i installed trainz on my laptop and used download station i would not be able to use trainz on my main pc.

Please help me as i dont want to use my laptop for trainz download station but it is more easier to use mobile.

I welcome any suggestions

PS i am only 12 so make the answers quite easy but not stupidly easiy

But that is the help i need you see i dont know if i register my trainz i will not be able to register the same copy on my other computer

Ah, right, gotcha.
I have Trainz on 2 comps and all is fine so long as you do not try to have both running at the same with internet connection. I use 06 and 2010, but when one is connected the other just says "unable to contact DLS".
It should not be a problem until you try to use both at the same time as this would cause a conflict. Many people here have Trainz on both their PC and Laptop, you only need to register the copy once and set you user name and password once, you will be remembered, but if your already logged in on one machine and try to log in on another then alarm bells might sound. Go for it, but don't forget to register.

Is this okay if you have only one copy of the game? I had a feeling the license only allows the game to be installed on one computer (for each copy that you own).

As long as you hold the CD key and the DVD/CD you can install it onto as many computers as YOU personally own without breaking the law. However you are not supposed to bring the CD key and DVD to a friends house install the game then leave with the CD Key and DVD. If you gave your friend the CD Key and DVD to keep for himself(not a copy) then that is also legal.
