Okay to delete Obsolete Assets?

I have close to 2250 "Modified - Obsolete" assets is it ok to delete them? With the newer versions there is no need for them correct? Trying to free up some space on my HD.

I regularly delete all such assets and haven't had any problems.

The only "Obsoletes" that you cannot delete in CM are Built-in, Base, Packaged and Payware. Packaged and Payware can only be deleted using the Uninstall option in Content Store (but you can Install them again later if you change your mind).
