still,these locomotives belong to the museum that runs them,these were not meant to be dancing platforms,how do you explain the 'keep off of the locomotives' painted on the front of the engines in white on both sides where the coupler is located,I'm sure alot of people who works at the museum won't be happy to see that two great pieces of railroad history has been damaged!:n:
to be honest, both 340 and 42 are in a far better place in a museum. They are active, hauling passengers, and very very well maintained.
No damage was done to the engine, the roof hatch was opened with a bit of force (you should have seen the guys today working the hand brake on the roof of an D&RGW reefer, we broke the roof, and bent the stem just trying to release the damn hand brake)
And the more 340 gets used for these, unorthodox usages, the more people see here. So really there is no issue here
Knotts Berry Farm would have stepped up and said something to prevent damage, a source told me they were turned down on a number of things

One day, When I do nick the steam engine, I'm gonna do a lot of music videos with Nick and friends grooving and swinging to it. They will be played after a episode or so. Besides, you will see what a steam locomotive will do to get on tv. My series will get on to tv soon.

So you think you're going to use songs from the series yours is patterned off of and they'll allow that? You're trying to compete with them, of course they won't.
Well, If family guy has done lots of musical numbers as well as american dad as well as any other show, then yes I would. I would have to ask them first.

If I remember right, if you use under 30seconds of a song, you dont have to have permision. Longer than that and you will be in trouble.
Well, If I want to use the whole song, then I would have to ask If I could the whole song for a music video. even if it means to do something I'm not proud of.
Who said my series was going to be a competing series? MY series is going to be a WHOLE new twist in railroading culture and humor, although I would like to throw in some Thomas references for those that remember Thomas when they where young.
Besides, as Tiana from the princess and the frog would say....

I mean steam locos are always being used as props in movies, even music videos. It kinda does help make the steamers more reconizable.
I was just pointing out to simulatortrain here that I was just willing to use the music from other music videos and remake it in my own image of sorts.
By the way, simulatortrain, you might want to change your previous post that has all of my music video choices on cause I have updated the list with these new ones.

I agree,it does make it easy to identify them,but I don't think those people who were dancing on them realized that,but if they did,they didn't care and it is almost no wonder they did not hurt themselves in that video and sorry for the mis-understanding!
