Obsoleting Assets on download station

Hi,
I have uploaded a recent version of my route, which is an update to four other versions I have on the DlS.
I was wanting to mark the others as obsolete or updated, and wondered how I do this.

You don't. If you update any assets, including routes and sessions, you just increase the version number as a kuid2. If your asset does not have a kuid2, then the obsolete table would have to be in the updated asset's config.

kuid:9999:11111 becomes kuid2:9999:11111:1 or
kuid2:9999:11111:1 becomes kuid2:9999:11111:2

Thanks for reply. Unfortunately the Kuid No. of my updated asset is not the same as the original, therefore Kuid2 does not apply.
I also included an obsolete table in my updated asset, but this does not seem to have had any affect on the DLS assets..

It won't because others may be using them on different versions of Trainz. It only means that if you download your latest, any other related assets will not download or will become obsolete if already installed. It is best to use kuid2 for route updates, as this will not obsolete routes installed by others on earlier versions.
