Obsoleted by a Later Version

After reading an earlier post "Does anyone know what this kuid is? " I looked up the Sodor3D Island site and downloaded the Edward myself. After installing it I checked for missing dependencies and found this:
2:75134:15015:2
2:75134:15012:2
2:75134:67025:1

"Screwlink Coupler and Hook (Stowed) is obsoleted by a later version. Download aborted."

First question is what do you do when you see that a kuid has been obsoleted by a later version? Bugging the author of the kuid is not what I would want to do. So where do I go from here? I looked on the DLS in CMP of my TRS2006 and find that a lot of "obsoleted" kuids are listed. How do you update them?

I tried the Sodor3D Island forum and didnt get anywhere. Same thing with Google.com

From what I can see the above missing kuid"s are needed for a lot of other engines as well.

I downloaded Edward to find the answer to that thread and have no problems with it. Did you download the New version.
The first 2 kuids now end in 3. The last 1 is correct, class 67 driver textures.

Yes, I have Edward working fine in TRS2006. What I need to learn how to do is download a kuid that is listed as "Obsoleted by a later version".

Download the assets via FTP on the DLS. CMP can't refuse having a .cdp file shoved down its throat. That's what I've done for all the parts of the Thomas models that were 'Obsolete'.

The kuids come with the download is what he meant.
Re obsolete kuids. If the old one ended in :1 the new one in theory would end in :2. Finding them is another ball game called if your lucky and hit and miss.
I only downloaded Edward (new version) this morning and have all the correct kuids. How have you got the old version.
In cmp r/click on the Edward engine, see what missing deps it gives you. R/click again an select download. It may find the newer kuids.

Fran1....I read a post where two kuid's were missing and the author said that it was within the "Duck" download. I went back to Edwards and redownloaded it and now it works perfectly.

Downloaded every loco at Sodor3DIsland and all work great except Gordan and its not missing any dependencies. Thanks for all the help guys.

Some new dependencies may have a higher build number than the version you are using. Some updates to content have been done in newer versions of trainz so have adopted that versions build and will appear as not missing because that version cant see higher build numbers.
