does anyone know if there is a photo library of the objects and such. Seems it would be far easier to view than going through all on the game, ie; sidewalk doesn't show sidewalks or maybe at least not what we call them in Canada

You can switch Content Manager to show thumbnails.

If that's not what you are looking for, I don't know what you mean.

You do have access to the web base download station (DLS) via the link above. This will show whatever icon the content-creator used when creating the asset. The caveat here is some icons are generic, like sidewalks by jim, plastered on a generic, which is really helpful - Not! This is the same icon which appears when you double-click on an asset in Content Manager to show an image of it.

The other alternative is:

Open up content manager.
Search for that asset you want to view.
Right-click and choose preview, or in the future it maybe under the content menu.

What this will do is load up a min-T:ANE with the asset-only loaded up. You can then move around, zoom in and out, and look at your asset. Really cool and nifty tool, which works with routes and sessions too.
