NZR Johnsonville Line

Thanks, and a question.
This route, from the Trainzone site is really good. Thank you Fender for all that hard work. And I remember seeing those 'old' red units. (Shows age !).

One small problem: all is good except that at a number of the small stations one
or other of the platforms doesn't show up. The people are standing there, in the air. I have put a platform under one lot and lowered the people, but I can only do that where the "Global Options" (etc) box is available. And one or two show
a grey 'label' saying "cgm hidden platform 0.6 x 50m". I have tried finding kuids, even downloading from (I think) the original website, etc., but no joy.

I have installed it in Trainz 2010 (also in Trainz 2006 but it's the same there too).
So ... would anyone have any answers or suggestions please ?

Thank you

Hi Petertenz,

Open CMP and find your route, right click on it and select "view dependencies". Any dependencies that have a DLS icon in the left column you can drag to the download window, wait till file sizes appear then click "start" Any that have a "?" beside them look here:-
http://www.trainzone.co.nz/nzr_track_&_trackside.htm

Hope this helps,

Thank you Bill69 for your suggestions.

Tried both of those but unfortunately neither worked.

As I said, the stations themselves are 'there' but not the opposite platform - people are standing in the air !

And the dependencies dont seem to be missing from the list, it seems that they just dont show up in the route.

Any further suggestions anyone ?

Thank you,
Petertenz

I don't have a problem like that either, all stations are complete in my download of Johnsonville line. Will be interested to see which ones you are missing.

Cheers,
Bill69

I don't have any problem either with passengers on stations (Johnsonville Line) in 06 or TS2010.

Try downloading and re-installing in CMP; CGM hplatform 60 5x50 I - kuid2:49869;28150:1 and CGM hplatform 60 10x50 I - KUID:49869:28153
Once you have re-installed them, start the Johnsonville Line in Surveyor. They should show in surveyor under OBJECTS. Note; these two items only have the track & people. (no station). The stations are separate contents.

Bill69 & I both live in the Hutt Valley (UH & LH). PM me with your contact phone number if you are still having a problem & either Bill or I will contact you tomorrow...
Cheers, Mac...

Hi Petertenz,

If all else fails just use another platform spline. There are a couple built in. One fairly narrow one is "Tside platform QR ramp kuid -12 59 or you could use MS platform kuid2 1942 37015 4 but to find that one look in the track tab and the ends are in the objects tab. For a dark coloured platform try kuid2 44482 20002 that one is in the objects spline tab.

Stations !

Thanks to all for your replies.

Meatloaf747 and Bill 69; tried your suggestions re further downloads, etc., all still to no avail ! Never mind - I have now done a little work in Surveyor and deleted the 'non-showing bits' and put in platforms/small station buildings that - to me anyway - seem to look the part. This is the first time that I have done anything much in Surveyor other than put trains on lines so that was a good learning experience anyway.

Thank you again for your advice and offers of further help,

Regards,
Petertenz
