NYCTA snow train

NYCTA has snow trains. I think that I see snow throwing machine, a diesel locomotive, and a R33 work car. It's hard for me to see what's behind the R33 work car.

The Snow train

Yeah, that's quite an interesting consist. And the snow-clearing car is interesting, for sure. It seems to have been custom-engineered for urban transit lines. Something like that would be pretty much useless in the 30-foot drifts of the BNSF lines or similar.

Behind the diesel it looks like there is a crew car or something like that. There's another car bringing up the rear, but it's too hard to see. The article was obviously written by someone with no particular knowledge of nor interest in railroads, which accounts for the lack of detail.
