i have an NSW class 48 in Indian red from TS2009. Is that any help? If so please post a reply and tell me how to send it to you.

Sorry

Sorry but i can not help you there. I own TS2009 and my friend gave me TRS2004. So if there is not one on TS2009 then there will only be one on a TS2010. However, I have an NSW 442 in Tuscan. If this helps let me know and tell me how to send to you.

Sorry i wrote the wrong class down ........its the 46 class i am after

I assume you have looked here http://www.sets.org.au/fleet/index.php?id=4615 as this has a picture of the delivery livery, in particular the front stripes.

Is that as delivered livery what you are after? Remember they were changed from 1968 to match the front stripes of the other diesel locomotives.

The term "tuscan" can be confusing as it was a NSWGR carriage colour and the very similar loco colour was termed "indian red". Many railfans confuse the two terms. One is darker then the other but the two soon faded through sun exposure to a very similar colour.

This is the one i am after

the second picture steve
I assume you mean "4629 on a passenger trundles through Lewisham"?
Which is similar to the one on the Valley Height turntable at http://www.infobluemountains.net.au/locodepot/exhibits_4601.shtml

The original livery is the middle black and white picture.

Thus you want the post 1967 livery. Same "indian red" as any NSWGR diesel which means dark or slightly lighter according to how long out of workshops and thus faded. Some "indian red" locos were painted a bit darker then others. Some had yellow stripes along the side and down the front as shown on the above turntable shots but not all had the stripes along the sides.

The 46 class later changed liveries in a similar way to the NSW diesels ie, reverse, candy etc.

Sorry, I do not have a 46 class for you but just wanted to help you define what particular era livery you desired. In that way someone else who has what you want may respond. [well, I am hopeful]

Cheers
