NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

Man how do those aussies nail american routes down better than we do???? I am blown away by how real this looks and this kid probably has never even seen this area before!!!

Thanks everyone!
@log0008- yes, Cresson and the loco facilities are included on my route, there is a map i did a few pages back on all the areas ill be covering :)

@Enzo, yeah your pretty much right! The last time i was in PA i was 6 years old! lol, I've got a US trip planned late this year/early next year, although not quite sure where I'm going yet. Atm its between the Empire builder, the lake shore ltd, the Pennsylvanian or the Vermonter. Any recommendations from anyone? I did the Cali zephyr this year from Denver to San Fran and it was awesome!

As always the feedback i get here from my screenshots is what keeps me going :)

Take the Empire Builder and let me know when- I'll be railfanning!

Well, thats a tough one, I would take the Empire Builder or the Lake Shore. If you do the Lake Shore, you can transfer driectly to the train the goes on the PL. Nice shots, btw.

Looking really good scratchy! I've been missing your updates since the forum overhaul. For some reason it wasn't including this thread when pulling all the threads I've posted in.

Thanks Dricketts! Inspired by the video posted earlier, ive gone blue for this weeks screenshots...
Hope you enjoy them and have a good week!

Man that route looks very goood :D. And more cause its operated by Norfolk Southern. Keep it up, looking forward to progress. Can i ask you where do you get the DEM of the route? I am working on another NS sub, the Bluefield VW Yard and i would like to know how to make a DEM of the zone. I'll be very grateful if you could help me.

Cheers
Ivan

PD I am not requesting nothing, only how have you get the DEM for that route or how to make one :D

Thanks everyone!

Dricketts- yeah id say most of them are hi res, however after i get about 200meters from the tracks i switch to lower res ones. Most of the ones i use are built-in atm cos i can find many others that fit the area...

Stuka- Its a model of of an sd40e, which is an sd50 that has been modified in Altoona and used for helper work over the route. Its not publicly available at the moment.

Ivan- There is a DEM map of the same route im covering on the DLS by Fishlipsatwork called horseshoe curve i think, transDEM still confuses me a bit and I havnt really had the time to go thru all the tutorials yet, so im still unsure how to make maps if thats what you mean.
