NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

Is everyone caught under the spell of speedfreekz? Bilboard trees are much better in my mind... Yet i am different...:p

Where are these trees avaliable??
Thanks, yep the trees are freeware from Pofig, he has a thread in the freeware announcements, however these trees will not work in any version under TS09SP4 :)

If billboard trees were still in trainz 12 that would be what i would keep using, but their not, so I'll have to try my best with these atm lol.

One shot, off Beach Hill Road a few miles from Johnstown.

I didn't know they would work in SP4..... I've stayed away from routes that include them because I thought I needed the REAL TS10. I'll have to give them a try now!

I think so, i never actually updated it to sp4 because I was scared off by all the weird stuff that was happening to some users.. but I heard it supports speedtreez from someone i think. :)

Working on my last homework of the semester (woo hoo!), so I'll have to finish up with this and finals next week before I check. Worst that can happen is that it won't work. I'll let you know. I'm probably going to get TS10 since it is on sale now anyhow. (My Christmas present to me) ;)

I don't know where you heard that. If it does support certain Speedtrees, point 'em out to me! Unfortunately though, I don't think it supports Speedtrees at all. It does support just about any other TS2010 object/train vehicle/texture/route sans Speedtrees/whatever, however. If I'm wrong, by all means, prove me wrong, I'd love to try out Speedtrees to see what they're all about, myself. :)

I still say you've done a good job on the route, even if I can't use it.

Dang ... I know just about where all your screens are taken from. So realistic !

Is that the west switch of track 5 West switch at the Rt 22 overpass ?

And the Conemaugh Viaduct from up on the Johnstown/Ebensburg old trolley roadbed ?

Really hoping for a trip up there sometime, but I think that may have to wait until I've got my final year in school to get out the way thou, and by then the route will probably be finished.

Replanting and texturing the slide...

That last shot is where the original pre 1854 PRR mainline from Petersburg/Holidaysburg/Muleshoe Curve secondary entred the Tunnelhill area and went to the Gallitzin tunnel (now closed off), under the bridge, for at one time on the PRR the Horseshoe Curve line through Altoona (for the most part) did not even exist yet until 1849 - 1854. The original "Slide" via the Portage tunnel also went directly to the Muleshoe line, as Bennigton Curve did not even exist yet.

I can still remember witnessing all the low grade iron ore Genny drags being run over the Muleshoe secondary track in the 1970's.

I was disappointed that N8PHU did not post any pictures in the new Alco thread. These look great! Looks like I've got some downloading to do!!

The thing is, I want to see where they go..

so far we have Mojave and Horseshoe curve, and a few other places...

Plus I posted a few here in USA...
