NS Pittsburgh Sub (Large Pics)

Just stopped at horseshoe last month, you're video makes me wonder why. I can sit at the computer and nearly have the same experience. Wonderful video!

Why can't CSX run over the curve? Wasn't it signals in the cab or something?

Jamie
Because when conrail spilt NS got the western/eastern part of conrail line and csx gets the southern parts of the line and I dont thing CSX has track rights on the NS Pittsburgh Line. If they ever did the world has gone mad. NS Pittsburgh line is for Black Stallions and Big Blue.

CSX locos can't lead a train over a curve (IN TRAINZ THEY CAN AWW YEAAA ES44AH'S) since they don't have the cab signals. ;) CSX locos can be trailing though.

The only time I have seen a CSX train over the curve was in 2010 when a derailment occurred on CSX's Water Level route which forced a total of 3 trains to get rerouted over the Pittsburgh Line. They didn't even need an NS leader so the CSX locomotives had the proper signalling systems, they simply received an NS symbol and qualified crew and off they went!

Great screenshots as always scratchy!
