The NS Columbia and Port Deposit Branch, better known as the Port Road, runs from Perryville Md. up about 60 miles to Enola Yard and Harrisburg Pa up the Susquehanna River . The line was originally owned by the PRR and given to NS after the split of Conrail. It was electrified by the PRR in 1938 and unelectrified by Conrail in 1987. The catenary supports and power lines are all that remains from the electrification. The branch is in use still in use and sees up to 6 trains per day.
