Now What ?

I just went into My Data folder for TANE looking to get access to My Screen shots and suddenly the program shut down.
Now when I start it up again it won't recognise me as the registered user ??

What did I do wrong.

I think I'll turn the PC off and go watch the television and go to sleep !

That sounds like a good plan.

You'll need to do a database repair.

What version are you on? The older pre-HF2 versions did this; the current one seems to be fine for most people.

The version I have is 81324.
And after a DBR I find I am still NOT a registered user and I now have lost all MY routes and all downloaded assets.
As I have my "Macrum" reflect backups on a weekly basis can possibly retrieve them from there.

Check where T:ANE thinks it's userdata folder is under Trainz Settings > Install. It may need re-pointing to the right place.

I can't Do anything with the B thing at all.

I am unable to even uninstall TANE SP1 ! Thinking I would do a clean Reinstall !

I do still have it installed on my laptop.

Never do any surveyor work at all on Tane just install my routes from 12
and run to check for faults.

OH well when I finish a route WIP will probably give up on Trainz altogether, I've had enough !

81324 is DRM free, untick the offline box and input your username and password and serial number if missing.

Not a good idea to access a programs folders and files when it's running.

I unticked the offline box, that seemed to work, it recognised me at last.

However I have lost all my routes and their dependencies , in fact every thing downloaded !
maybe I can retrieve them from my "Macrum" back ups ?

May not need to, they are probably still hiding somewhere and the Local data folder just need correcting in the settings, if you can't find it and didn't give it a specific name try a search for one of the folders included in the LocalData such as screenshots editing or cache and then point it to the parent folder.
