Now how can this be

I've spent the last four months recreating my model railroad after over 40 years of operation with over five or six operators. My back operation failed to correct the problem so I was forced to call it quits and looked to Trainz and the Multi Player aspect of the game. Four of my operators have agreed to get a copy of the game and will join me as soon as I can setup operations. I've got all the trackage in the six towns and the main yard from the model railroad but I've run into a major problem. When i deliver cars from a way freight on the various industry sidings I don't expect to see them back in the yard the next time I look. The same with the Southern heritage loco's that I setup on Andi Smith's Turntable that I just finished. They were out on the line waiting for a return run the next day.
Instead by magic they were back on the turntable. How do you stop this from happening?

If I follow you, you have to save the session when you quit and then load that session again when you start the next day.

I have no idea how this will work with Multiplayer, but that would be true for single player.

As you close the driver session you should be asked to save, you then get the session name, date and time and then save as that or name it as you want.
To re start that session, launch trainz, start, saved sessions. You will find your saved session there. Highlight it and select drive session.
Make sure your running trainz as admin.

Also remember that any changes to locos/rolling stock will not show up when/if you go back to edit your route/session. A saved driver session reflects the state of your route when you "played" it and will not update with the route.

"You hit the nail on the head. I was doing exactly that. While running a way freight I would note any problems and when the session was completed I would drop back to Surveyor to fix things. I did not realize that saving the route did not did not save the driver session as well. I hope that's the answer.
