Any reason known for products not showing in the MIN flyout?
I 'Add Product' in Queues and nothing shows.
Seems all round, cannot add products to wagons.

Check for faulty commodities (red !) and those listed in my faulty commodities thread. Also check for missing dependencies.

Using the search brings loads of threads with input from you, I am taking notes.
Message when clicking products is:
'This description needs setting'

Found the list, disabled Aluminium Billet, no more errors in Commodities.
Will do a database repair and check operation.
Thanks Shane,
Rog

All efforts to bring back products have failed and have abandoned MIN, I am now using LARS which after a short time sorting out an error with the rolling stock is working nicely.

OK, this is not an uncommon problem - clearly there is at least one other product that is faulty but may not be showing up as faulty. I had the same problem, my solution was to delete ALL the commodites that I had downloaded from the DLS - those that came with the Trainz install (i.e. "built in") I left alone. On my next use of Surveyor the problem had disappeared and the products window displayed products again.

A few of my routes now displayed missing assets, a few commodities, that were on the DLS. Since it was possible that one of these was the cause of the problem, I downloaded them a few at a time and after each download I started Surveyor and tested the products list. I found no problems and concluded that one of the deleted and now unneeded commodities was the problem.

Although all assets looked clean I deleted the lot and lo and behold the list is back! Thanks Pware, well chuffed.

Ghost42 - I believe the problem persisted after you found Aluminium Billet and then only disabled it. You need to delete these assets as disabling them does not remove them from assets that might already be using them so they still affect the industries.

True, I did disable Aluminium Billet did not see 'delete' as an option.

kuid:46162:60004 has an error (illegal texture variant, showing as missing env_metal.texture). The version available at the DLS (kuid2:46162:60004:1) has the error fixed. TS12 with SP1 has kuid2:46162:60004:1 as builtin.

Checking Content Manager v3.3 it does not show, is this for TS12 only?

kuid2:46162:60004:1 is probably only downloadable with TS12 (TS2010-Builtin is part of the path at the server).

kuid:46162:60004 could be fixed using PM2IM to strip the illegal texture variant.
