No Map to Daylesford

Hi everyone, I've just finished downloading the Carlesruhe to Daylesford layout from "ntesdorf" and with anticiapation try to play the route only to find that the following error message comes up, "Error - No Map Selected" with the only option to go back to menu. Is this map somewhere available, or if someone has it could they forward it on? Would it have downloaded but not linked? If anyone can shed some light that would be most apprieciated. Thanks in advance.

Only a guess, did it come in a CDP, if so open it and it will show in CMP or CMP2. Make sure you commit it then locate in surveyor.
Or did it come as a route only with no session to it, meaning you have to put locos etc down.

Hi wolf_2006
Are you running TRS2006 SP1? If you aren't, then you will get this error as the map is made for TRS2006 SP1.

Created by 'ntesdorf'.

Be warned, it does make use of sirgibby's payware, and some other non DLS content according to the description. I've not downloaded it, as I've not yet purchased sirgibby's payware.

Cheers Zec,
Wolf, That will be why it's not showing, you need the payware + the non DLS content for the route. Basically you've only got part of it.

That won't cause the 'no map selected' error. And won't actually stop a map from loading. It will give you a screen telling you there are missing dependencies. However, in this case, Trainz is saying that it cannot read the map. Either the map is corrupted, or he doesn't have SP1 (this will need to be answered by him).

Hi all, thanks for the quick response. I've commited the content, still no joy. I'm running TRS2006 v2.5 Build 2761, I'm not sure where to find the sp version. I did use CMP to download the content from the DLS. It didn't actually say that there was content not available on the DLS in the details prior to the download. Thanks again for your help.

Search the 2006 forum, as you read this scroll down to bottom of page to the right, search option, drop down menu, 2006 FAQ's tips+tweaks.
SP1 is on the first page with installation details. Make sure you get the correct SP1 for your build number. 2761 I'm pretty sure goes to build number 3092. No promises.
