No Beta for TS2009 yet?

If Auran is going to release TS2009 in Nov, wouldn't you think they would be asking for Beta testers by now?
I've been to the TS2009 website, and no mention of a beta.

Many content creators are creating for TRS2009 using the betas.

Tried to download it six times before I gave up. ~700 MB is not good on non-FCT speeds.

(activated FCT, trainz broke, spent 90 days fixing it :F)

I believe that Tony is preparing a statement / large post on their intentions concerning a new approach to Beta testing, and I remember him mentioning a much more open beta process this time around.

Not quite sure what this will entail, or whether it's still part of the plan, but you're right about the November release date getting a bit close.

Maybe the release date has changed too, but I doubt it, as Christmas is an important time to release it.

Maybe Tony can get that post out now.

Hmmm... considering what my investments have done over the past week, I may not be buying TS2009 after all<g>
It's gonna be a very "lite" xmas this year. On the up side, we may get lots of snow here in the MidAtlantic USA (New Jersey).

I still enjoy TS2006, and can live without a new version for a while.
