If you look on some of the 'big' train forums, people will post where they are but other wise its very hard to find out for sure.

If you have a facebook account, there's a group called "Norfolk Southern Heritage Locator," where people can post when and where they've spotted the heritage units and help you judge when they're headed your way.



(Doesn't do me any good, as I hear tell they won't be leaving NS' system.)
