night driving cars

If you use TC3, 2009 or 2010 you only have to put a night mesh on the car and to add some tags in the config file (see the TC3 CCG for details about the config). You can configure the car so that lights only activate when it is used as road traffic.

If you use 2004 or 2006, the only way is to add a script to the car sensing the time of day and turning on/off the lights at dusk/dawn. In this case, you have to make two separate models, one with the night mesh and the relevant script for road traffic, and a static one (with no night mesh and script) to be used as a scenery item, otherwise static cars will turn their headlights on as moving cars do...

Cheers

CM3.2 search for Category - Vehicle + Name - Light returns these:
Truck Mack dump 01 lights,<kuid2:68213:29046:1>
Truck Mack dump 02 lights,<kuid2:68213:29048:1>
Truck Mack dump 03 lights,<kuid2:68213:29050:1>
*Truck Mack semi 01 lights,<kuid2:68213:29057:1>
Vehicle Standard Vanguard lights,<kuid:329364:1208>
Vehic. MB A-class with light,<kuid:114172:29121>
TrailerLightsontheHill,<kuid2:97008:29423:2>

Apparently Andi06 has made a script for vehicle lights that these trucks use.
The one marked with an * is a TRS2004 kuid that's builtin TS2010.
