NICTD/South Shore/Metra Electric trains?

Hello! I've recently gotten into an electric commuter fad, and I'm currently planning out an interurban style diorama based off of the NICTD South Shore Line and CTRail's Shoreline East. I'm unaware if any modern South Shore equipment is around, but I was wondering if there were any Nippon-Sharyo Highliner Gallery EMUs, as those trains (in my opinion) would look great along a coastal segment. I do know Landrvr1 made some of the single-level for NICTD South Shore, but Landrvr1's content is pretty much just beating a dead horse at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated.

No help here, but curiously the DLS has 18 sound files for Nippon Sharyo, but no actual units that I can see, unless they are being called something else. Alex Maria has the Dallas DART version done by Kinki Sharyo here:

I'm not aware of any Nippon-Sharyo Highliners in Trainz, but it appears that the user VVVFInverter just uploaded some of the original St. Louis Car Co. Highliners in their Metra livery to the DLS a few days ago:

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but since it sounds like your diorama is freelanced, it might still be of interest.

Landrvr1 made the single-level NICTD cars; they're quite old models, but still look good. You can get his stuff by asking politely in the appropriate thread.

I'm working on a Metra Electric route.... but it's going to take a while before phase 1 is ready for release.

Sorry for the late reply, but I am aware of those. I'd prefer not to have them, simply because they're just old, and I've had to fix Landrvr1's stuff before for Trainz 2009. It's not a very fun experience, though it is worth it. Again, my apologies for the late reply, I don't mean to bump a dead thread.

It's very nice honestly. Good for a passing train or a background shot. Not the most detailed, though. I feel bad criticizing content when I know nothing of the business beyond some reskins or stuff using PEVSoft tools to fix the older assets, but I do wish it was a bit more "operable", so to speak. Otherwise, it's still a very nice train. I think it'll work though.
