Think they are sending a lot out to inform the new trainz verison out and to keep people updated on what is going to be in it.

I like the newsletters they send, it keeps me up to date with there products, and I do like the individual interviews with each member of the Trainz team, keep the newsletters coming.

One addition I would like to see in the newsletters, is a Trainz DLS item of the month, voted for by the forum community, which can be downloaded as a complete CDP from the newsletter, plus a brief review on who made it and what the item is used for on the railways.

That's not the point. Is the fact that Auran/N3V Games or whatever they want to call themselves are sending out the SAME newsletter multiple times.

Any more of the same newsletter being will be considered spam, or unsucribe if it comes to that.

The newsletters aren't really that bothersome. Deleting them before you read them is also an option.

I'm sure glad you're not on the Newsletter writing staff. You don't even know where the "upper case" key is. Have a heart, and the next time you post, try caps - it's really much easier for us poor souls without a life to read.

At least in this Newsletter, unlike the last mess, they used the spellchecker. Much better!:Y:

We went for a long time without any newletters and people complained and now that we're getting a good supply of newsletters, people want to complain. N3V can't seem to win at times. I like the flow of information that we're getting lately.

Nonetheless, you're making my eyes water! What did you do in English and Grammar class? Sleep? You sincerely need a spell checker, preferably a heavy duty one.

Look - don't take this so seriously. Just consider other people when you post something. At least try. We suggested a spell checker. Get one and use it. Truly, you will make more friends here if you consider others when you post. Most especially, if you ask for help sometime.

You must be on some kind of super secret special list, because over the past month I've only gotten 3, the first one was the regular newsletter, the second was highlighting Trainz 2012 and the third was also highlighting Trainz 2012 but it was different than the second.

Now of course they say essentially the same thing, but they have different pictures and the wording is different. Now you want talk in generalities, since they both cover the same general subject I guess if you really wanted to be picky you could stretch it and maybe make a case…

Frankly I'm surprised you're still on the list as much as you like to disparage Auran/N3V I would've figured you would've unsubscribed long ago

Hi nuttynoah and everybody.
Nuttynoah with regard to correct spelling and punctuation, can I suggest that when making a posting you first type it into a word processor such as " word " or " open office writer" which is free to download.

The software will check your spelling etc as you type it in and then all you have to do is copy and paste directly into the forum thread.

Another alternative would be to get speech to text software which automatically types everything correctly provided that you pronounce what you wish to say correctly (which often I do not due to my strong West of England accent).

So "yer tiz" my suggestions provided I assure you with the utmost of respect.

I'm not saying i want everythink my way, and i do not usely reply the way i did in the post above yours, all i done was to write a post about the newsletter thats all.

I know others are going to reply to it, thats good thats what the forum is all about, giving your feedback...positive or negitive, but to comment on someones writeing is not really called for and now the spelling its going a bit to far.

Read some of the replys and you will find others have spelt words wrong, but mine was pulled up, some people can not spell that good and i am one of them, its not nice when others pull you up when all thay need do is just read the post and reply, without commenting in a negitive way about caps and spelling.

Now you see why i do not have many posts.

Firefox has a built in spell checker, this may help. The grammar is more complex and unfortunately gets in the way of the message.

Essentially what you are trying to do is convey a message. The difficulty is that sometimes you maybe used to conveying a message to a group of friends verbally when using expressions such "i done" helps the group identity. Unfortunately when writing in an international forum to people who are not familiar with your local UK verbal usage it conveys the wrong message.

The theory is try to keep in mind your target audience and if you want the message to sink in use the appropriate grammar etc. I still use cheerio as a sign off but at least half the Americans have no idea what it means and think its an advert for a breakfast cereal.

I propose the creation of a new forum.....'English as a First Language'. It might help some of the younger folk out there. And it certainly won't hurt some of you old goats, either! (Your wrting is just fine, John.)
