Many thanks for the kind comment John but I should point out that didn't start the Trainz wikibook, nor do I in any way regard it as even remotely being my property or something that I'm in charge of. John Whelan wrote a fair bit of it I think but many others have contributed. I've done a few pages and a bit of editing, that's all. It is a wiki, which means it's public property and everyone who wishes to is encouraged to contribute to it and edit it, respect it, and benefit from it.nothing happens unless John259 and maybe a couple of others do something about it

The TRD on the other hand is almost entirely my own work. I constantly scan the forums and the Internet looking for new material. More than 30 new listings were posted last month alone. It takes me on average, around 4 hours a day, seven days a week to keep it the way it is. A lot of Wiki stuff is listed on it but not all. In all about 8 people from these forums have contributed about 20 listings. I found the remaining 900 plus the hard way

For anyone to start a new resource guide especially with the TRD, Wiki and Trainz Magazine firmly established, it's just not feasible or logical to do it all over again.

The TRD also lists over 150 Community web sites that contain a wealth of material, tutorials and projects you may be interested in. The only way you will ever find out is by ploughing through the listings and visiting every site. I'd be doing that before I considered creating any site, regardless of the proposed content.

If you've forgotten the access keys, remember the tower rotation....Well that's pretty helpful info John, If we can combine that with carton graphics and available add-ons, we'll be getting close to solving the Da-Vinci code!
