Newbie Q: reassigning keyboard controls

Hi,

Trainz newbie here (giving it a try after a couple of years on Railworks) so apologies in advance for stupid questions.

I'd like to edit the cab-driving keyboard controls, but some of the keys I want to use are already assigned to other things. How do I delete a key assignment - i.e. set it to 'None'?

I wouldn't recommend changing them, unless you backed-up the original KB command file, in a notepad file ... as by deleting, changing, altering the KB commands, it may disable some of the other important ones.

I did at one time add "E" as Emergency Braking ... but it disabled the built in "E" KB command

I could list all the KB commands, and they are all pretty good ones, easily memorized ... and driving in the Cab mode, using the mouse to push buttons and levers is pretty efficient and fun.

Find the folder in which TS12 is installed.
Go to folder "UserData\settings".
Edit the keyboard.txt

Be sure to keep a backup.
