New V3: Florida East Coast Miami to Ft. Pierce

Are there any passenger stations on this?

Isaac, we can only wish. Tri-Rail and others have tried and tried negotiating service on the FEC, though the closest that exists are the few depots that hosted service from 1895 to 1968. Some are restored, some have been demolished.

Hhhmmm, the rate Florida is going with Railways though, that may change hopefully within the next 5 decades(esp. if amtrak gets the line). I can't wait though to run some FEC/ACL/SCL/SAL trains up and down that though.

In reality my route can only adequately accomodate FEC goodies, though I am considering a full scale of the CSXT Miami Sub.

After one month... We're talking progress.

Woolbright Road Crossing, in full scale and hopefully with GMAX meshes of the area buildings, is well underway.

Meanwhile, I worked on a mesh of an older 70s era block signal.

Here is a shot at Iris that I neglected. Note that the area was enhanced.

Thanks Bryan.

Well, let's go back to the days that 202 ran in the morning.

Well, I know very well why that happened. Seems the session is too long for me to do it at one place, so I had to shut the game down. I tried to save the session but there was an ATLS channel triggered so once I booted it up it 'derailed', and worse, when you go into a congested area, and this happened before when saving, the game goes to a fatal error. So I had to restart Driver and move the whole consist from MP 369 to MP 338. ;)

Sweet, containers that change schemes in-game. lol :p

signals

hello i like your signals you made will they be on the download station or released to the public please let me know thanks.

Thanks, mity22.

Train20, and everyone else that inquires on the availability of my signals, these are not released and are only between Richard and myself. Why Richard? Because he has the lifelong right to use my routes and up to date versions at conventions, note the understated.

Anyway, for Jax area buffs and / or members of the FECRS (Florida East Coast Railway Society), this route is currently being presented at the 2009 convention in the other side of the state! Richard was given a fairly up to date copy of this route and its counterpart, the Key West Extension.

I will try to seek screens from Richard along the line to see how his convention exclusive runs worked.

SHELLEY'S DELI! FEC Train 202-03

In reality I did not catch a single train on CSX nor on FEC over a month, so it was time to put a virtual adventure on Trainz today.

This is a real train with all the stops and movements real. All the configurations of this train are exact of today's 202 in real life, save for the SD70M-2, which FEC used their RA 105 in real life, while I settled for 102, plus the second engine which the real train did not have a snoot unit. The engineer is why this train was named "Shelley's Deli" : P

This session's pics may be in this or the next issue of Trainz Magazine!

Dave Shelley starts out with a SD70M-2 - SD40-2 pair, an additional SD40-2, and 12 rock hoppers for Tarmac in Delray.

And so he swaps the SD70M-2 and the first SD40-2. The reason an extra is on board is because the second GP40-2 which he is going to get is bad ordered and needs to return to Jacksonville.

Villa Rica North (where somebody was north of me a few hundred feet), I didn't bother talking to him until he came to Delray)

Dave stops at Delray, where he meets a couple and two more people, excluding myself.

I probably bettered the route 1000x by simply adjusting the dijurnal settings;

Welcome to Hollywood, Railfans! (This is the sample of the dijurnal cycle for the route)

If need be, the night settings will be brightened, but the reason Hollywood is well lighted is simply because of street lights, so I might make powerful enough coronas....
