Well I always used the trainz demo, but now I want to buy the real thing.

Does train 2010 have amtrack engines and cars if not wheres is a link where I can get them?
Does trainz have a realistic route where passengers actually get into the train and have time limits?
Can you look into the Train cars?

Are there any resent demos of trains?

Which do you think is better Trainz or Microsoft office Trains?

It will help me out allot if you could answer these questions thanks?

Yes, it's possible to make timetables.

Passengers doesn't walk into the train, but they dissolve and appears inside the train. You can also set how busy a station will be.

And you can get 'interior views' inside cars, so its just like travelling along your favourite route. Or you can drive the loco too and stop to pick up passengers, you will see them appear inside the cars.

As far as Trainz TS2010 vs MS, well Trainz blows it right out of the water, no comparison, Trainz is much better.

There are many, many assets (thats what we call downloadable items, locos, cars, scenery items if you are making your own route) on the Auran Download stsation, some 157,000 at last count. Included are Amtrak locos and cars too. Also on the DLS are many realistic routes from all over the World, lots from USA and Europe as well as Australia and New Zealand and a few others.

So get the TS2010 DVD or Downloadable from Auran, and have a great time, its so adictive.

Oh and pootle over to my website if you like old steamers, some big uns !!!

OK thank you and can you also down load scenarios too?

Yes you can. (scenarios)
Buy the DVD set if possible you'll find it's less hassle in the future.

But Trainz has also a few technical problems, like bad memory management and graphics that can seem a little outdated, as well as some interface issues, like no way to tell how far you are from a station and so on.

But somehow it´s very addicting, but you should take a look at Railworks as well (which is my favourite train simulator).
