For more detail and maps of the Yard Switching Company see my posting in the Freeware Forum.
The central section of the route - with the loco depot on the left, Conoco Petrochemicals on the right and the Container/TOFC terminal in the right background:
The western section, with the Hymill-Write factory (makers of the famous Hymill-Write jack and a range of other industrial products) in the foreground and the Transfer Yard on the right:
The eastern section, showing the Dry Sort Yard on the left with Anderson Milling behind:
The Log Dump (thanks Slugsmasher, together with the Dry Sort Yard this is a great piece of work):
I'm kinda proud of the Log Dump - it's actually narrow gage so I had to use a combination of invisible track and the bridge to make it work. The standard gauge track connects to the Dump with invisible track, and the wheels of the freight cars actually run on that. The bridge is there to make it look as if it is all standard gauge. Works well.
Anderson Milling:
The Portland Cement Company:
And finally Conoco Petrochemicals:
The yellow markers between the tracks show the location of interactive industries. As I point out in the Freeware Forum, this little six baseboard route should cater for most types of interactive freight cars.
