I hope i get the Route in the year 2012 ready, at least the Step 1.
Step 1 is the Route from Norwalk to Redondo Beach. I use Google Maps to build this Route. He has all, what I need: Ruler, StreetView, Areal Photograph.

Hi
Looks awsome so far.
Not trying to be picky but you will need to change the signals, the MTA does not use seachlight type signals on any of its lines here in Los Angeles. The type you might want to use are the subway signals made by Magicland, they are a close match to the type we use. It's only a thought tho.

Keep up the great work
Jim

Nice work!
The freeways are remarkably clear,:hehe: and it needs the correct Green Line stock. If you are planning to upload the route, maybe I'll have a go at that when I get my g*******d battery loco finished.

Mick Berg.

The Signals have I changed, the Route is now ready to Harbor Freeway Station.

Are you going to upload this? I would love to have it.
And as I say , if you do, I would be happy to have a go at making the Green Line Stock. I live in Sherman Oaks, quite close, so I could get the necessary photos etc quite easlly.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

I say you've done an excellent job with the road and track placement, it's rather impressive!:)

Thanks for comments, I live in Germany, and I've never been in the USA. I am pleased to see how you arrive at the track. When the Route finished will I put the Route on the DLS. I think, in the next year is it finished.

hello:
The signals for the electrified line are now corrected as I can see from your latest pictures. Let me look at some rail maps and pictures that I have of the area and I will let you know which type are used on the freight lines that run along the green line. You are doing an awsome job from so far away.
A side note, I spent 3 years in the US army stationed in kitzigen Germany, I spent a lot of free time riding the trains there and I loved it.
Thank you for your time I hope this translated well.
Jim

hallo:

Jim

you can see, i was almost ready. the streets and building be missed, i put this in the next Time. The Trains on the last Picture was for the panic test, i have tested the route with all trains startet on the self time. The original trains on this Green Line is on this time not on the Download-Station. Mick Berg has in the early post say:

maybe I'll have a go at that when I get my g*******d battery loco finished.

When I placed the Buildings and Roads, then I finished the Stations with object Details.

Should I start the Green Line Stock?

Kunjing, (Andreas),

Should I make a start on the Green Line stock?? The Battery Locos are pretty much finished. I will have a lot of time in the next few weeks, my work becomes very slow in December. I will start looking for drawings. If anyone can suggest a source for these, I'd appreciate it.

BTW 85 mph seems very fast! I can't imagine a light rail running at this speed !!!

Mick Berg.

How fast is the max Speed on this line? I will than reduce the speed ! In Hamburg drive the City-Train with max speed of 100 km/h. Mostly is the Speed by 80-90 km/h, also I think it is by 60 to 85 mph.

I will post some pic's of signals commonly found around the freight lines next to the green line and where to download them in my next posting.
