I've been running 'LA The green Line' on my Trainz 12 layout (on a Windows XP system). However, as a trolley fan, I have emotional problems running a diesel LRV under trolley wire. Thus, it wasn't long before I found CTA 4000 A on Dounload Station, and created a session with a 4 car train to tun on the line. Today, I created another session to tun the newly discovered NICTD South Shore Intrurban A (also -2, -3, -4) to create a 4 car articulated train on the line. In both cases, I can't raise the trolley pole or pantograph before the train leavws the yard. But when I run the train down to the nearby end of line and change ends, I discover that I am able to raise the trolley pole or pantograph.
Unfortunately, my familiarity with Los Angeles was with the long forgotten Pacific Electric lines (operated at the time by Metropolitan Coach) to Watts and Long Beach in 1959, and also fragments of their last streetcar lines!
