Fellow Trainzers,
A friend and I are contemplating a series of routes faithful to the prototype, based up NP operations in South Eastern Washington and West Central Idaho, starting from Spokane, WA, to Lewiston, Idaho, and including the branches to Farmingon, WA and from Pullman, WA to Genesee, ID. Due to our proposed date, DEM's will not be of much help, as they don't exist for the 1910's and 1920's, so we're working from USGS quadrangle maps instead. It appears that when the routes are complete, the total area will be 800 to 1200 baseboards, and having reviewed the available content in CM, there will need to be quite a quantity of steam locomotives and passenger and freight rolling stock of appropriate vintage.
Taking to heart a bit of my grandfather's counsel, "many hands make light work", I'm inviting anyone interested in collaborating in this effort to contact me in this thread, or by an email sent through my trainz community profile page.
regards,
ns
