New Metrolink Cab car

hmmm. Thats pretty.....um....unique.

Im not saying I hate it, but I do like the older cab car style more.

Well, they weren't really leaning towards the streamlined part but from what I hear they built it to be more resistant to front end collisions... I do, however, agree with Mike on this one. There's so ugly they're kinda cute (y'know, BL2's, MP36/40's, Cab-Forwards)... but this is just ugly as sin (ex: BL20GH [Whoever signed the papers for that one needs a psych-evaluation])

why is everyone saying bad things about these trains? it doesnt matter whether these are ugly or not, they get you where you need to be, if you dont like them then dont ride it, nothing you can do about it

You should really think before you post in a thread this old. The cab cars were manufactured by Hyundai Rotem, the same company that manufactured the SETPA Silverliner V's, and I don't think they're all that bad. The cars shown here were also made for Tri-Rail as well.

M00se, the last post was 2 YEARS AGO! Don't bump threads like this

I KNOW BUT EVERY THREAD I SEE ABOUT THE METROLINK CARS ,THEY ARE TALKING TRASH ABOUT THEM, AND IT CHEESES ME OFF

First there is negative comments about the Metro North/New Haven Bl20GH's and now these. I think the BL20GH's and the Metrolink Cab car look really nice. I think of the BL20GH as being friendly to the environment since it is a low emissions locomotive or a new geep and I think of the Metrolink Cab car as a powerless GE Genesis.
