i have learned that freightliner class 66s might also adorn the the livery of the new class 70s also the 86s and 90s also might have it so yet another reskin work for the dls:cool: thought id let my fellow uk reskiners know how times and liverys change its hard too keep pace

Not really any 'might' about it, they've already started the process on the class 90s and 86s. It'd be naive to assume that the rest of the fleet wouldn't be repainted too.

Edit: I should read more clearly :)

The streamlined curves, the addition of the colour silver and incorporation of Freightliner Group’s new logo to the livery is part of a rebrand, which was announced in late 2009 and will be applied to the rest of the fleet.

Btw, my take on the new livery is that it's quite smart looking. At first I thought it looked a bit tacky on the 70s, but I've rapidly gotten used to it, and think it is a little nicer looking than the old 'green' livery.

The only objection I have is their font choice, it looks a little cheap compared to the font used on the green livery. Still, could have been worse, they could have used Comic Sans :P

It'll be interesting to see how it looks on the 08s, since it really needs a fairly long body length to give the swooshes room to contrast the centre section. If it was me deciding, I'd just paint the 08s as 'one end' of the livery, as in one swoosh, one yellow section - probably with the yellow/grey swoosh section at the rear (flat) end.
