New Forum look

I like the new look because it's less harsh on the eyes, and it has a nice modern look to it.

Now if they'd fix the link to the forums so we don't have to go through the very dated TRS2004 page to the forums, that would be nice.

Hi,

I think this has already been fixed. www.auran.com/TR2009

I still notice however than when you click the link for the DLS it reverts back to a 2004 site.

Cheers, John

Hi can we please have the old look Red pages back I don't like this insipid colour
It probably would be impossible to choose a color scheme that somebody wouldn't complain about.....some people didn't like the Classics look when it came out....some didn't like the TRS2006 look when it came out...etc...

How very true!

As my old Irish mother used to say "You can't do right for doing wrong!"

Auran wanted a fresh look, I guess, ready for TRS2009 and here it is!

Everyone else has a corporate identity, why not Auran?

Hello

Tony you could bring back the Flatcars?

nice cool breeze on the gold coast today, ahh it's fresh.:D

Regards

Ahsan:)

Very nice and crisp look much easier on the "older" eyes.

Cheers,

Bill.

edit;
Just noticed that the post counts are back in the header.

We could also implement a kind of scheme store on a cookie for each, that will apply the current or the previous theme to the whole forum. but I see nothing wrong with the current one.

Not to long ago Auran managed to hire somebody ( again ) who was partially responsible for the disaster called Fury to work for the "communication" part of the online thingys they do at Auran. Is it just me or do the websites TS2009, trainzdev and now this colour scheme look as if it was made by a local 6 grade kid? You have to be honoust here, it is nothing special and most definately not worth hiring a rather expensive employee to do it. The level of the Auran emplyees, with Tony H. in the front line and helpdesk failure Allan Y, leaves much to be desired.

HELP

Help! Have they changed the colour.
Opticians here I come :hehe:

Only kidding!
Yup, I like the change, very fresh.
Cheers
Pete.

PS: I use strong glasses though :D

I had to agree with Robin Hoods when I first saw this, but I suppose exactly 2 years after the infamous crash it was time for a change. I think we'll get used to it over the coming months, but why the same colour as the TRS Dev site, you could imagine the confusion if you clicked on the wrong cookie.....

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.
