New First Class Ticket

Hi

I have just purchased a First Class Ticket, and immediately Activated it as well. Just in case, I re-started Trainz 12 and started downloading the 400 odd Updates.

But it was still downloading at the old rate.

Does one have to wait for a certain period before it starts downloading at a higher rate?
Or is there something else that I'm missing?

Try clearing the Download Helper panel then re-adding the assets.

For the benefit of anyone else reading the thread who may be having that issue, it can take a while for the server to recognise you have a FCT, although it is normally quick. As others have noted, you have to clear the present downloasd list first before it kicks in, and doing an extended database repair (from the file menu on the content manager) is sometimes also necessary before the FCT will be detected.

In addition to that, changing your profile password may be needed (whilst Trainz is not running).

Do "NOT" change your UN & PW !

But instead you should SAVE the UN & PW lines blanked out ... then shutting down Trainz ... re-starting Trainz/CMP/Options, and re-entering your same identical original UN & PW in the blanks.
