New computer and Vista

I'm getting a new computer next week to meet the needs of Trainz 2006 but its Vista. Will Trainz 2006 work on Vista?

Most people here seem to have been to make Vista run Trainz with a bit of tweaking. WinXP would be appear to be a much better option if you have the choice though. Do a search on this forum for the word vista and you should find some threads offering advice, or if necessary post again.

Or buy TC which does run under Vista and copy over the TRS2006 content in the manner not approved by Auran but seems to work anyway.
