United Airlines post merger

Out with the old, in with the new.

The United & Continental Boeing 737 aircraft liveries are a thing of the past. No offence Pascal, your United 737 is excellent.

The new fleet includes both the 737-800 & the shorter 737-500 aircraft.

The 737-800 has been built in a standard livery & one in United's new "Eco Skies" environmentally friendly livery.

All are now available on DLS.

Hi Guys,

I would rather someone else do the reskins of the aircraft, the Qantas 707 should not be hard to do, then I can spend more time on different aircraft.

I will look at the VC10 K3 tanker, it is quite a bit longer than the released passenger VC10 so requires a mesh rebuild.

This is the new VC10 K3 tanker, I will upload it shortly. The refuelling probes extend using the V key, unfortunately as they are outboard of the fuselage and track, aircraft on the same track cannot connect directly to the baskets as you can with the KC 135 tanker.

United post merger re-paint

On a rainy morning at Vancouver International Airport the last of my United "post merger" re-paints touches down on runway 08L.

The A320-200 has been uploaded to DLS & should be available in a couple of days.
Special thanks to Vulcan for tweaking the model's tail to make the globe logo nice & straight.

Nice work on your DC-10s. . currently due to restrictions on DLS I guess unfortunately those are not available for TRS 2006. . .I would like to see those however. Would that be something you would consider releasing? Also would like to see the Boeing 747 released in colors for Pan Am and Delta (1970s livery although Delta did not own any of these prior to the merger with Northwest)

Fellow re-painters.
Could someone handle the 1970s Delta 747-200 Georgialonestar was requesting. Life's getting in the road of Trainz at the moment & it's taking me way too long to get through my list. I've started the Pan Am, but the Delta is going to be a couple of weeks out at least.

Maybe you could even re-paint the Pan Am using some of the textures you created the Pan Am 707 with.

The Apache has been uploaded. Still thinking about what animation to put on the Blackhawks.

The picture you show is not strictly a "cargo" plane it is a Boeing E-8C 707-300 Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System, know as a Joint Stars Aircraft.

Here is the reworked 707 model with the electronic bulge below the fuselage, I will upload it soon:

The Vickers VC10 K3 Tanker should be uploaded tomorrow.

The Apache is now available, as is the Joint Starts E_8C aircraft.

It is now taking up to 24 hours for a model to be available from the "Black Screen" website, but it is generally availabe earlier through CMP.

I thought I would have a go at Boeing B29 Superfortress aircraft as the next models.

This is FIFI, in the colours of the Commemorative Air Force.

The second model is a polished silver:

The aircraft has the startup engine function using the B key, engine smoke on start, it flares on landing (V key) and has tyre smoke on landing, using the Aircraft Action Trigger, setting 4.

I will upload after final checks, hope you like it.
