New Aircraft

Georgialonestar,

I can put the 747s on my "North America" list if you like. It will be a couple of weeks off though.
I'm in the middle of updating the United fleet with post Continental merger (Nov 2011). I'm about half way through that excercise.
If I do the 747s for you, they will be uploaded in version 2.9 (TRS2010) so I'm not sure whether you can see them in 2006. I'm not to sure how to convert them to older versions.

Boeing 767 - United & Continental

More reskins......

One of the few remaining Continental Boeing 767-400ER aircraft is pulled into the hanger next to its slightly smaller United 767-300ER cousin for a re-badge to United livery.
The recent merger between Continental Airlines & United Airlines mean they are now the one company, United Continental Holdings. Both aircraft will emerge looking the same carrying the United brand name & the Continental paint scheme. The United 767-300ER aircraft are all to have winglets fitted during the course of 2012 (it's on Wikipedia so it must be true....).

The United 767-300ER aircraft has been on DLS for some time (by iced8383) but the Continental has been uploaded this week.

Look out on DLS for a number of aircraft in the new post merger livery.

United post merger

The Dash 8-Q400 is one of the babies of the new United Airlines fleet. They have come over from the Continental Connection label (background aircraft) & are now part of the United Express (foreground) regional airline.

The new United aircraft is now available on DLS.

Hi,

Following a demand of Patricia_b, I made this reskin of a Canadair C604 with the livery of REGA Swiss Ambulances.
It is made on the model of Vulcan's Gulfstream, which is larger but looking very similar.

It should be available at the DLS soon.

Late on a snowy winter evening the two 767's that were in for a repaint are leaving the hanger to resume survice in the new paint scheme. The Continental 767-400ER (right) simply had the Continental name taken off the fuselage & replaced with the United brand. The United 767-300ER (left) was much more complicated. It has not only be completely repainted, but has also been re-fitted with winglets.

Boeing 747-400 United

Below are three different liveries for United's 747 fleet in about as many years.

The grey (by Vulcan) & blue/white (iced8383) versions have been there for a while. I've uploaded the 2012 version with the Continental colours to DLS and it should be available soon. It's taking about 3 days at the moment.

Boeing 707 versions

They look good Rob.

We need some older aircraft, a Lufthansa 707-320 version:

and the military version, the E3B 707-300 early warning aircraft, with rotating radar dome:

These have been approved, and should be available soon, Pascal is working on an Air France version.

Nice 707s Ian,

I've always had a soft spot for those old birds (as apparently the Aussie gov't does having only taken them out of service a short while ago).

I've started an old bird myself. The Pan AM 747-200 from the 1970s (request from Gorgialonestar). It's a bit tricky because photos of them are a bit scarce but I'll get there. The Delta from the 1970s is also on the list. Unfortunately I can't claim a new model but I'll take the reskin for now.....

Hi Guys, been a while I posted a lot here, that wasn't a request. Well, this is a request:hehe:

Anyways, Ive been trying to create a Modern USAF (2000+) Base but we're missing something the US has 2500 of. We have a C-130, AC-130, C-5, C-37, C-40, A-10, KC-135, and Osprey.

what are we missing? I think it's a fairly large list, however, United States has 2500 Fighters, and we have none. F-15's, F-16's, F-22's and F-35's. Is Ian secretly working on any of these or is he willing to add one to the list?

Cheers

Jamie

Jamie,

Not sure about "none" for fighters.
Pretty sure there are a few F-18 Hornets to choose from including a squadron of Blue Angels (by Pascal "Papou"). What about Vulcan's F-14 Tomcats?

It's a start isn't it?

Hi Rob, that's correct, however, F/A-18's and F-14's are US Navy, Not US Air Force, and I'd like to have a USAF base with a USAF Fighter squadron
