New Aircraft

Happy New Decade!

Hi Planezers.

Firstly, a Happy New Year to everyone who has seen it come, and those who are yet to.:hehe: (Ha-ha, we beat you to it!)

I thought I would post a comparison shot today. The first screenshot is from my English Southern Coast route, and the second is from the Crimea map on IL2 Sturmovik: 1946. Both are Spitfire Mk Vs, both are in vic formation. And that's roughly where the similarities stop...

I hope you enjoy these. Should I post more in the future?

Happy Planezing,;)
Scott.

Happy New Year Everyone
:clap::Y::clap:

I hope 2011 brings you all the best for the future.

:):):)

Some great screenshots of late, keep it up.

Happy New Year to everyone:wave: :D :)

I havent posted in a while because of 2010 trouble, I downloaded all of ians planes, and some other textures, but they all appear obsolete and those that arent are faulty and are not visible because of the obsolete versions.
I tried to delete them, but there was no option to do so.
Has anyone else had this problem, and are there any solutions.

Josh

stmsoccer,

If your planes are obsolete versions, then that means Vulcan has released an update, that can be downloaded in the game through the "Content Updates" tab.

However, Auran's server is overloaded in this "busy" period of the year and no-one can do anything without a first class ticket. The way I see it, you should wait until the peak season is over, whenever that may be, and retry for the updates then.

I really hate the way Auran has ground to a halt because of too many people with first class tickets taking advantage of the DLS.

I like your shots (they look great and I'd love to see more). I just wanted to add that it is not the fault of those who have first class tickets for the DLS being what it is. If anything, it's too many folks who don't have a FCT who are trying to get stuff. As someone who has purchased several FCTs and then recently discovered I couldn't get anything without one, I felt cheated as I have more than paid "my dues" (and so I got another FCT recently).

Still, saying that folks who pay for a FCT (which keeps the server alive and well) is what is causing the problems for those who don't pay a dime to get stuff from the DLS is bit attrocious in my humble opinion.

Regardless, Auran is a business and running the DLS costs money. I think it's a FCT yearly ticket is a fair price to pay for a years worth of great content.

Excellent shots Christopher,

A few of us are using, AJS Scripted Turntable, we place it in hangers and when the aircraft stops on it, it moves through 180 degrees.

If this could be made invisible and have a rotation delay time that you could adjust then this would be perfect for you and the rest of us.

G'day!

Another idea for good ol' Ian and since we're on the subject of aircraft! :D

This, is a Horten Ho-229. A late World war 2 flying wing design and stealth bomber, the first of it's kind to be powered by jet engine. It was powered by two Junkers Jumo 004B turbojet engines with a maximum speed of Mach 0.92, 977Km/h (607mp/h) at 12,000 feet. Unfortunately, this amazing piece of technology was adapted by the U.S and other countries who built their own versions of the Ho-229.

Cheers! :)

Jake.

Christopher I have two questions. By Far my favorite screens so far( the Dermmy of planez)
I have been searching everything for it and now you have it, but where can I find those red lines, I need them.

Also that is a very nice texture set you havve may ask the kuid of the grass and tarmac.
Been a long time, I took a FSX break and then started on Two huge trainz routes

Thanks
Josh

hi, i'm searching a long time a turntable, but all aircrafts are to long!
i need a 90 meters platform! can u show me a turntable for aircrafts?

Or the authors must fix the aircrafts!
the red arrow must be placed at the back landing gear, and not 10 meter behind the aircraft :(

Hi Everyone.

As promised, I have some more comparison shots from Trainz and IL2 Sturmovik, as well as a couple of suggestions for Vulcan.

Firstly, the Bristol Beaufighter:

Next up, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning:

P-38_IL2_1.jpg

And now, some Trainz suggestions for Vulcan, or anyone else willing to have a crack.

Firstly, the B-17 Flying Fortress...

And the B-25 Mitchell...

I hope you like these. Next time I may be able to get some screens in combat.

Happy Planezing,
Scott.

Ian ( Vulcan ) has made invisible helicopter lift tables, might be able to produce a turntable to fit our aircraft needs at some stage.

I know he is flat out producing other content at the moment, so as with everything watch this space you never know what surprizes will pop up.

I have the turntable working for a C-130 coast guard, so will try it on the Galaxy C5a and let you know how it looks.

Gordon

Excellent keep it up, makes me want to go back and redo mine :hehe:

That will come in time, as I think we all do as our skills and content develop.

the AJS Turntables are to short :(
the biggest one is 120ft and not invisible!
i need 90 meters ( 290ft) because the aircrafts are to long :'(

maybe we can send a petition at vulcan to build a invisible aircraft turntable

*edit*
sorry for my bad english

Just tried it with the C5a had the nose wheel at the end of the turntable and it worked with out falling off. Tail got cut of by the side of the hanger though :hehe:
