Hope everyone is well!!

I just downloaded Dinorius_Redundicus Kauai 2008 -- He has a small airport, and it's a perfect fit for a tourist airplane, since this is an island layout!

I glanced at the DLS hoping you guys have some tourist type planes, but nothing came up with that title!

If you guys do a favor please recommend any tourist type of planes I can use to circle the island!

I tried to install this route but I have only Tane at the moment, but it doesnt work. I should try it next week with TS 12 or 10.
Tourist planes: we have several Cessnas and Pipers which may fit for this use.

Route was made by Dinorius_Redundicus call Kauai 2008 -- It's a tourist land.
It should work with T12, which works great here -- Have not test it in TANE; But Deane, the creator of the route said it won't work in TANE! Not sure, tho, so I'll drop him a PM about it!

Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian - Seair 2002

Down at the Seair terminal (kuid2:97008:48107:1) at Sea Island, (Vancouver) there's a new aircraft moored to the jetty.

The Cessna 208 Amphibian is a project Ian & I have been working on for a very long time (my fault). We finally have worked out the bugs and have another great float plane to play with.

The 208 behaves much like the Twin Otter but is quite a bit smaller.

The 'Vulcan' original model (a private livery) hasn't been checked through as yet but is almost ready to upload. Fear not, we'll get there. I have a later Seair livery on the books but the way things are at the moment, it could be a way off as I don't have much time for re-paints at the moment.

The Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian in Seair stripes is taking off at a DLS near you.

I installed Deane's Kauai map on my TS12. It runs OK. Nice scenery. As the map is quite old, some assets could be replaced with more recent, particularly at the airports. Thanks Ish to make us re-discover this route.

Nice job on the latest aircraft. I got a question. Do you plan on creating some drivable WWII aircraft. I know of a guy who has created a lot of static aircraft but not many have made any drivable ones?

I've found that loading Kauai 2008 (trainz-build 2.4) directly into T:ANE won't work due to N3V changing the basic format of the map files. However, I've been able to get the route into T:ANE indirectly by first loading it into TS2010 and Save As.. to make it a trainz-build 3.3 version which updates the map format. TANE happily loaded that. Presumably I could do the same from TS12 if I had it.

So I'm guessing that other users could clone the original Kauai 2008 route, load it into either TS2010 or TS12, save it, and that version will be one that T:ANE can also load.

As Pascal said, it does use a lot of old stuff, but at least it's all available on the DLS and/or as built-in content. On the bright side, a lot of the old assets have been updated and made error free now, but be prepared to hunt for some kuids and perhaps for some error-fixing.

I briefly tested an old Session (Kauai 2008 Dawn) and found the scenic flights around the island still work (they are just simple loops with no junctions). The train routes run for a while but eventually the AI gets stuck in Mexican stand-offs despite all the passing loops available. But you could have some fun flying those aerial loops with the much better planes available now.

Me, I just prefer to find that hotel pool down at Poipu and listen to the Blue Hawaiians sing about the Swingin' Hula Gal.

I've just sent a TANE (build 4.2) version of the Kauai route to the DLS - Kauai 2008 in TANE <kuid2:68213:100008:1>.

Minimal changes were made, just enough to get it into TANE. Hopefully available for download by about 9 April 2016.

There were requests about military aircrafts, particularly of the WW2 period. That's true that we didnt develop this subject very much, may be we are peacefull people...
But there is some basis with models recently updated by Ian.

For example, this North American P51-D Mustang:

375th Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force, US Army Air Force, Europe, July/August 1944.

I made 4 different aircrafts of the same fighter group:
