New Aircraft

Paul_r,
You should do some investigation into your buildings not being approved. Sounds like there could be a problem with them. Or. Check the preview area (in MyTrainz - Your Content) and make sure they aren't waiting for your approval. If they're stuck somewhere, lodge a ticket with Auran.

A word of advice. Uploading assets through Content Manager has proven to be slow & unreliable. I save a .cdp file from content manager which is pretty quick. I then go to "MyTrainz" then pick on "Your Content" and use the "upload content" option. The "standard" upload will bypass the preview step.

Now for an update for my TANE friendly updates.
Most of my content is being approved and available within 3 days at the moment. My TANE updates are back on track now after the DLS problems and my script mistake. My aircraft in TANE friendly format available now or very soon are:
A319
A320
A321
A330
A340
Boeing C-17 Globemasters
Boeing 737 Startup (Note that the older non-startup versions have not been updated yet as they need major overhauls)
Boeing 747
Boeing 747 Supertankers
Boeing 777
Boeing 787

The 767's will have to wait for now because they also need an overhaul. I'll come back to those when the easy ones are done.

I've just uploaded the Bombardier Challenger C605 series (6 aircraft).
Next on the list are the 15 CRJ-200s in my fleet.

Paul_r. I know you have some of my 777's at Heathrow. Maybe you could give me some feedback if you start testing with TANE.

Cheers

Rob

Pascal - Planning permission applied for spare land opposite old Concorde hangar - ground floor museum display/1st floor car parking/2nd floor bar and restaurant/ 3rd floor visitor centre with simulators/ 4th floor viewing deck with screens and topped by 100ft observation tower, a childrens play area and bird feeders. I anticipate objection by the CAA. Look forward to the 319's !

Rob - I've just had a look and found all 14 items in the approval area, but I can't see an OK button - how do I get them approved and moving? I've just downloaded some of your updates OK - thanks.
I've effectively given up on TANE until a patch comes out which hopefully makes it playable for me. The session loads with no driver setup at all. I'm also waiting to see if the free Windows 10 upgrade due soon will make any difference to it. Will certainly give you feedback when I can run it or in TS12 if you wish.

Paul

Just realised what's wrong - the email account I use for hobbying has not been working for a while - I remember now when I uploaded the original map I got an email to confirm approval. Looks like I'll have to contact them.

Hi Paul,

By memory, you click on a file, a window should open with the choice, accept or delete. I dont use the CMP facility either, long, and not reliable.

Just come in for some lunch and get a request off to helpdesk. Just done as you say and all gone to waiting area now - thanks very much

Paul

I just uploaded a large batch of A320, updated for TANE.
The A319 are already available.

Among the A320, this one operated by Air Inter, before the merge with Air France. This model was updated to Startup at the same time and the skin improved.

Look forward to them Pascal. Downloaded a number of your A319's the other day and they replaced automatically in the game so don't know what happened with some of the previous batch. Still waiting for the Heathrow buildings to appear.

Another airline operating the Boeing 787-8: Royal Jordanian Airlines.

My other 787 will be updated soon to TANE.

Hello Everyone --

I was born in Puerto Rico, and maybe you guys can use your super reskin skills for this! --- I would appreciate a lot! -- Of course, never ever on a rush, so ... LOL

Cape air flies out of San Juan across the island, and across the neighboring islands as well .. I have taken this plane -- Here's a story: I was the only person onboard ... felts like a private airplane ... all myself ... lol And my damn camera has low battery ... I was so upset ... me and the pilot were between two jumbo planes waiting take off instructions ... lol .. that was last year!!!

Ish,

I'm going to have to turn you down this time. The MD80/B717/DC9 has exactly 2 photos on the internet (one of which is yours) and they aren't good enough to generate a re-skin. Information on the airline itself if scarce. The result would be pretty awful and I wouldn't like to put my name to it. The Cape Air is an aircraft that I don't think we have a model for (Britten-Norman BN-2B-20 Islander) so you'll have to ask Vulcan about that one.

Sorry. :(

Hi Rob,

Thank you, sir for taken the time to research the information, and for considering it! --- No need to apologies, Rob! --

This one looks similar, and I am not picky, either, sir LOL ... I'll be graceful and delightful enough if you use this one!

That airlines has different type of planes, I just happened to come across this picture!

Thanks again!!!

Cool thanks for info. Look forward to flying it. Sad that it does not fly anymore. Has any of todays modern aircraft beaten the Concord Speed Record yet?

Matt3985,

There are already Vulcan drivable Concordes available on DLS.
Air France <kuid2:60238:9594:1>
BA <kuid2:60238:9595:1>
Singapore <kuid2:60238:9596:1>

They aren't startup but have a couple of tricks like dropping the nose.

Hi Pascal

Thanks for the Heathrow A320's downloaded now. Think the Royal Jordanian 788 is fab - can't believe no Royal Jordanian in my timetable - might have to bring in a medical diversion in my next update.

Anyone....can anyone who has downloaded London Heathrow in TS12 confirm that the T5 and Central car park buildings and the airbridges are now showing? I am making another attempt to get this running in T:ANE but I can't even get the session to start now and on top of that, the buildings are not showing in T:ANE either.

I think I will upload the latest version of London Heathrow (which has some track and signalling improvements) in TS12 and leave it at that for now.

Paul

Ignore the Heathrow bit - have found the problem

I keep going back to T:ANE despite it being so irritating - it's like a drug

I've now finally got a clean install of assets but still have a problem with getting the session started (both drive session and quick drive). Has anyone on here actually got an imported route/session from TS12 up and running in T:ANE that also contains old content?

On session start, nothing moves and the red bug message is

"pglib: File pgtoolsutility.gs Line 237, ER_Timeout
DriverSetupRule: File driversetuprule.gs Line 665, ER_Timeout"
followed by repeat lines relating to aircraft

When I look at Driver Setup it shows message:
"Error: PropertyBrowserRefresh() not handled
A script error occurred while attempting to edit the properties of this asset"

Can anyone cast light on this? if not I'll post this in the tecknik's forum.

I'm wondering if things will work if I delete all aircraft that still have a build number of less than 3.5? Thoughts anyone?

Paul

Sorry Paul. I've been avoiding P:ANE. As with many software & operating system packages, I tend to wait 6-12 months until the programmers have repaired the software they've either been forced to release before being tested properly, or deliberately release early and let the "Community" Beta test.

So in short. I don't have P:ANE and therefore can't help much. What I do know is that tech support gave me some insight into the hardware specs required for T:ANE. The recommended minimum spec is a low level gaming computer. Roy Joosten raves about T:ANE but he drives a gunship. Those with lower spec machines have seen more issues (right vulcan?). I'm not saying the hardware capabilities are your problem but it's just a comment to consider.

Anyone else?

Hello Paul,

Except those uploaded very recently, the aircrafts include a script which is generally faulty in TANE. Even aircrafts with build 3.5 may have this error.
Thats why, with Rob, we are in the process to upgrade them to be TANE friendly. Big task which will take some time.
This could be one explanation for your troubles.

Next TANE patch may repair this but dont know when and how.

Pascal

Thanks for that Pascal - did wonder whether it's realistic to get it working at this stage. At least I've sorted the faulty assets so some progress. Noticed earlier some 787's in the content updates

Paul

Rob - only just noticed your post - love the P:ANE bit! :hehe::hehe::hehe:
