DHC-3T Turbo Otter - Harbour Air

Out in front of the Flying Beaver a Harbour Air DHC-3T pulls away from the pontoon.

This one carries the new livery that was rolled out in 2012. The design is similar to the Westcoast Air Twin Otters repainted about the same time. Harbour Air puchased Westcoast Air in 2010 so it shouldn't be a surprise.

DHC-3T Turbo Otter - Harbour Air - Victoria Royals

Harbour Air have a tendency to paint their turbo otters with different commemorative and advertising liveries. This one is in support of (or advertisement for) the Victoria Royals ice hockey team.

Bombardier CRJ200-ER Delta Connection 2000 & 2007

A Delta Connection Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) 200 series waits at the taxiway hold point while a sister aircraft lands. The aircraft in the foreground is painted in the older flag livery that was rolled out back in 2000. The landing aircraft is in the newer 2007 livery.

Here the two aircraft side by side at the terminal. The older livery is the more attractive but was a victim of the squeeze on the airline industry & Delta decided to change it out for a more boring livery that is much cheaper to repaint.
Delta have a number of airline companies that operate their regional aircraft as do the other major brands. Both these aircraft are operated by SkyWest Airlines.

Bombardier CRJ200-ER United & Continental

Now for the United family.

Prior to the 2012 merger there were two airlines, Continental & United. Continental had their blue & gold world livery like the one in the screen shot below. The Continental aircraft were operated by Chautauqua Airlines.

United had the old "Battleship" livery for some time but changed over to the striking "Rising Blue" livery in 2004. This one, like the Delta, operated again by SkyWest.

The 2012 merger resulted in the united brand name staying but the Continental livery surviving. This post merger aircraft is another SkyWest jet.

The next US carrier on the list is US Airways. These two liveries go back a bit further than the Delta & United equivalent.

The older black livery dates back to 1997. This livery carries the Air Wisconsin registration number.

The current white livery was rolled out in 2004. SkyWest operate CRJs for US Airways as well as Delta & United.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I was starting to wonder whether anyone was even following the tread anymore.

I expect some nice screen shots from you route builders & drivers.:) We need more shots like those on this thread.

There is still the American Eagle (American Airlines) liveries to go of the major US carriers before I trap a couple of Canadian ones. If there are any specific liveries you would like, please post the request on this thread or send me a personal message.

In an interesting co-incidence, Ian (Vulcan) is currently working on upgrading his 737 models. One of the variations for the 737 family he showed me during the week is the older/retired 737-200 series like the one you're asking for (I assume you're asking for it). I've assembled all the photos I need to do the re-skin but will have to wait until Ian has finished his modelling work.
In short. Be patient. It's now at the top of the list.

Most of my re-skins are from 2000 onwards but I do dabble in retro when requests call for it. Pascal (papou) & Bruno (itsmrb) are more prone to doing older aircraft, Pascal has indicated that the 737-200 will have a number of liveries on his list. I imagine Bruno will have a few New Zealand 737-200 aircraft on his list as well.

That's great, Rob. Sure, I would like to have a 737 like that. Take your time. No hurry. It will give me time to create a suitable airport for it. Thanks! :wave:

Hi everyone

I've started doing a model of T5 at Heathrow and using the British Airways aircraft by Vulcan and Papou and others and wondered if anyone was still doing the British stuff. In particular to fill the missing BA aircraft - the Boeing 777-200 and maybe the Boeing 757-200 although there don't seem to be any 757's in content so presumably that would be a major job for somebody.

If anyone has the interest and inclination to complete the BA fleet for me I would really appreciate that.

Thanks for your interest to our work.
I made so many british aircrafts, including with BA colours, but the 777 was left aside. lack of time may be. There are so many to do..
I put this one on my list with some priority, but please be patient, the list is long.

The B757 does not exist today. May be Vulcan can answer for that, but his to do list is also huge..

Thanks for that - think the modelling on here by yourself and others is brilliant.

All of my BA fleet is either yours or Vulcans and a 777-200 to complete it would be really appreciated.

Thanks Nzld for your offer but I'm wanting to produce a working BA timetable so the statics don't really interest me.

The 757-200 would be nice but Vulcans existing 321 is roughly the same appearance if I don't look too closely!

Talking of Airbus 321 - you don't by chance have an Iberia 320/321 on your "to do" list to complement your A319 do you? Iberia now also use T5 at Heathrow now they are part of IAG

With all the European airline stuff on here I feel a bit "picky" asking for more!

Hello Rob. I am not trying to be a gimme-pig, but I was wondering if you would be willing to do a Northwest Airlines Boeing 787-8. I would really like to see that.

The NW B787 would be a fantasy livery (which are pretty difficult to do & aren't really my thing). At present the only companies from the Americas flying B787 aircraft are United, LAN, Areomexico and Air Canada. I've already done one for United & will be doing the Air Canada shortly. Delta & others have them on order but are not delivered. I think someone in the flightsim community has done a NW 787 so I'll see what I can get from there to help. I can't promise anything.
