New Aircraft

LC-130 Hercules 1999+

The Vulcan Air workshops have completed the fit out on the LC-130 I sent over there late last year. The standard C-130 model received an upgrade as part of the process as well. The variants will come at a later date.
The LC-130 is based on a C-130H with skis fitted around the wheels and Jet Assisted Take Off (JATO) jet pods bolted to the fuselage. The LC-130 aircraft are based with the New York Air Guard 109th airlift wing. They service the frozen north of North America & share the load with the McChord based C-17 running supplies from Christchurch to Antarctica. The LC-130 is a fairly specialized aircraft but also incredibly useful in difficult conditions.

I will do some more screen shots and a video to help explain some of the features of this gem that Vulcan has given us.

The LC-130 has been available for a couple of days and judging by the download count, it has already been very popular.
Gordon can finally replace the USCG C-130s loitering around his Christchurch Airport.

Good Afternoon,

Has anyone painted any of Ian's helicopters into a coast guard?
If so, please note the kuids here!

I searched at the DLS, but cannot find any of Ian's painted as such!

Thanks in advance!
Ish

The upgrades Vulcan has done to the RAAF Herc, Pascal should be able to add JATO to his Fat Albert asset. {Sorry for finding more work for you Pascal...}

Ish,
No USCG choppers yet. I looked into it but there are challenges involved. The J-Hawk has enough differences to put a Blackhawk to J-Hawk re-skin on hold. The other USCG choppers don't exist as models yet. Sorry.

Markus,
Great work with the Sea King. Good to see you taking some of the workload of Pascal....

Good Morning Rob,

Thank you very much, sir, for looking into it - If anything ever come to light please drop me a PM, if you remember, LOL -- I'll stop by the thread from time to time, and keep a sharp eye out!

Hi Guys,

Some new aircraft are now available, first the Canadair CL415 water bombing aircraft. This will land on water or on a runway, with appropriate tyre smoke or water spray effects.

I will be uploading a couple of the DHC-2 Beaver aircraft soon. To understand how these aircraft work with track triggers and keys please read the config descriptions.

I understand that Pascal and Rob are working on some reskins for these. :)
