New Aircraft

Hi Trent,

thanks and if you have any pictures and or drawings with the general outline
and measurements it will not be a problem to make a model of it for you.

You can PM or E-mail me if you want your "own" ;) hangar in Trainz.

Cheers,

Bill.

Thanks Bill, I actually have the building plans :) I may do that. Though at the same time I am in the learn stages of 3dsmax, and might just try it myself as well as a project since I am currently teaching myself to make buildings. But on the other side, I am happy to give you the measurements as well if you like.

Cheers

Trent

Hi Trent,

up to you which way you want to go, I replied to you because it is normaly
very hard to get plans or sizes for things to make, and you working on site
I thought it was worth asking. ( I'll be glad to do it).

Cheers,

Bill.

Hello Bill,

I'll give you a copy of some plans which have the dimensions you would require and email it later this week. As I wont be onsite for a few days now and they are in the works truck which is left onsite this week.

Give you an idea, the hanger in the youtube, off the top of my head is about 48m x 35m x 10m

Cheers

Trent

Thanks Trent for the sizes and I'll await your reply later in the week.

Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Bill.

An other work in progress,

a "butterfly" style maintenance facility, can also be used as a departure
and arrival hall extention, just add walkways.

This is a spline (as long as you like) this one shown is 700m with a 100m repeat, and 100m under cover at each side with 40m centre building.
A 50m repeat will also be available aswell as a single sided version

Cheers,

Bill.

WOW Bill, that is brilliant, amazing work. At least you found a great way to repair the A380's and as Ian said, the use of a spline will be very handy.

Wow...what a fantastic thread. I had no idea that these things existed. I've only managed to flick through the thread as there are so many pages but I'm totally amazed by some of these screenshots.

I'm currently downloading a Boeing 747, a Spitfire, a Tiger moth, a bell 412 and the invisible track...it's taking ages without a FCT and I can't wait to take a look at some of these beauties and I'm sure I'll be downloading the rest later. Brilliant work Vulcan and everyone else involved.

This has got me dreaming of my childhood :-

I would love to see one of these in trainz...especially this model 'Europa N2A' from the early 70's.

Keep up the great work guys...

I have been very lucky enough to play with a new toy, many thanks Ian. This one has a new feature and works excellent.

Every time a new plane comes out, Ian proves again how creative and talented he is.

Two Gulfstream models are now available, see the pictures by Seeseeme above. They are the newer G650 model.

The aircraft flare on landing if you use the B key or the Aircraft Action track trigger, I think someone suggested that option for some aircraft. They also have operating engine retarder flaps.

Concorde? did I forget to mention that? :)

Delta wing aircraft need to flare on landing because of the poor lift performance at slow speed, the Concorde does that, and has an operating droop nose and retracting screen visor. Three models are finished and under testing, will upload later in the week.

This is one model where you should turn the sound up a bit. ;)

This excellent work is really pushing me to do KMIA!!! I really like the A380 and the 747, Lufthansa uses a 747-400 out of Miami oftentimes and It will be fun to land one on flight 462 in the unison of O721 on the nearby track

I thought I would post some more screenshots of Ian's newest creation.

Sorry about the Blue Flags, I use them for testing purposes.
