Need your advice for laptop

Hi, I need your advice for one of these 2 laptop, which one do you think will run trs 2010 and 2012 better. The first one has a better processor but a slower HDD, they are the same price and both are 2 years warranty.

1-MSI FX620DX-256US Notebook Intel Core i5 2410M(2.30GHz), 6GB Memory, 640GB HDD 5400 RPM,NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M......this one is new

2-MSI Ge600,Intel Core i5-430M (3M Cache, 2.26 GHz),Main Memory4GB DDR3, HDD320GB SATA 7200rpm, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1GB DDR3...... this one is used Mint condition and has an extra 9cell battery pack.

Toss up

Tough call. There's little difference between the processors, and the video chips are benchmarked about the same (ugly truth: neither one is very fast, but that's typical for laptops). To make sure you stay confused, the one with the faster disk has the smaller complement of RAM.

Decide on something else: price, brand name, looks.

I believe Trainz is limited to 4Gb (and I have yet to use that much), so the extra 2Gb on the first comp won't be of any help. The faster drive on the second might make a significant difference though.

The other ugly truth seems to be that I tough it was a fast computer and would equal my desktop with a Q9550 processor, ATI 4870 1g, and 8 g of Ram ....don't you think ?

Laptops are WAYYYYYY behind desktops. I'd take a $500 desktop over a $1500 lappie any day.
