Do you think the iPad is capable of handling such a thing? The game has such simple assets now, for everyone running older iPads. Unless you have iPad 4, I am not sure how well it could run.
Don't think the iPad is capable of doing such a thing due to the fact that it would also require a good Internet connection which isn't always available and many people like myself have an iPad with cellular service and you'd blow through your limit most likely using multiplayer.
Its a good idea but at this time I don't think it's really a good idea though.
The other issue with having Ipad multiplayer is that the vast majority of multiplayer sessions will not be available to Ipad users as the Ipad is not powerful enough for some of the latest assets and uses the equivalent of TRS2004 content.
