First a thanks- I have recently learned how to fix the Dissapearing Base board problem thanks to "Shanes trainz Tutorials", a very warm thanks, Shane. The 2 step process is Easy to follow and understand and i have fixed most of the problems Enhancing my trainz Experience alot:wave:. Now to my issue affecting only some content, i have encountered a problem where the solution of reparing problem content becomes a cattalist for new errors to pop up As i go through the step by step proccess to Fix problem content i am encountering new errors where CCP and Content creator plus detect more errors creating a paradox and im compleatly Lost with what to do?.
I will give the name of some problem content and its KUID and my method of fixing it so you know what content im having problems with and perhaps you can see what im doing wrong. Even after years of content editing and content creating, theres still much to learn.
(PROBLEM AND FIXING METHOD)
Problem: Dissapering base boards. Content: ds1_8m sleeper track - KUID2:74433:110003:1. Using Shanes Tutorial.
As per the tutorial, i set up in serveyor with dev settings on. I go to the problem area where the base boards dissapeer. I look for worst buffer count of 100, But The number never exeeds 36 any where on my route, 36 is my worst buffer count. So i assume that the Shanes Tutorial means Highest Number in the brackets beside Worst buffer count?. I write down the KUID and exit trainz. Next i started CMP and search for the KUID (Above), and Open CCP. I right click on "Track" and look for un Cahed alphas and click it to add it. Next i tick the uncached alpha tick box Save and Exit CCP. Next i commit the track asset, and it becomes Erronouse with the red ! Showing. I select View errors and warnings and get Errors:
Error: The Tag 'rgb' is not permitted within a container of type 'track'.
Error: The Tag 'length' is not permitted within a container of type 'track'.
Error: The Tag 'width' is not permitted within a container of type 'track'.
Error: The Tag 'uncached alphas is not permitted within a container type 'track'
Now i start trainz and load my route, The Worst buffer count is now 6 and the draw distance is better, but the content DS1_8m sleeper track is now absent from my route?
