Need help - Is there paintshed for Trainz 2012 or not?

Is there a seperate Download for Paintshed for trainz 2012? I remember Trainz 2006 had it, but in 2010, i don't ever remember hearing a download for it. So, is there painshed for TS12? Thanks.

No, paintshed has been redundant for years now.

Because it was a fairly primitive program and Trainz has moved beyond it graphic wise.

and if they would release a new one, then what? as i like to reskin a train to make it Emily

Even if you had TRS2006, or TRS2004, using paintshed it would only reskin a choice few, dozen or so, Paintshed templates, and nothing else ... no Emily

shoot. I have heard of MSTNoodle Emily, thomas, toby percy. henry, and gordan. Where can i get MSTnoodle Emily and henry? I have SI3D films stuff for thomas content, but i also wasnt just those 2 mstnoodle models.

Use a paint program and reskin the *,tga or what ever.
Paint shop pro v7 to v8.1 is my recommendation

Two good freeware programs for repaints: Paint.net and GIMP 2. You'll also want PEV's Train Mesh Viewer to check your progress. All are freeware. Paint.net has no airbrush sprayer so I use GIMP 2 to do that work, save the file as an export BACK to the new asset folder, then open it in Paint.net for final tweeks and saving in 32 bit format - either .tga or bmp, whichever the source was. Check your work with the mesh viewer. There are also nice tutorials out there on repainting a locomotive, simply search on Google "repainting a Trainz locomotive using Paint.net" and you'll find it.

I use PEV's Train Mesh Viewer for testing trains on My windows 7 computer, as that's where i installed Trainz 2012. And I also use Paint.NET. I have it on a Windows XP Computer and the Windows 7 computer for use with minecraft also.
