Need an Erie Lackawanna Fix ??

Thank you for posting. This is awesome.

I remember some of the EL action just at the end just before Conrail took over. I was out in Johnson City visiting my uncle and his house was located across the street from the EL main line. I spent my summer out there watching the freights parade by. I'm not sure what it's like out there now, but I'm sure it's not the same. The fallen flag railroads had personality unlike what we have today. These photos are great and show how neat and clean a yard can be unlike what Guilford had left when they wrecked the D&H and when Conrail destroyed the LV and the EL.
