Does anyone have a century c420 in something that I can open in Sketchup?
Thanks in advance

Aslo looking for an rs-11 high hood

I'm actually 3d printing the loco (1/29th scale) and painting the plastic, not the drawing this is a GP30-c I did from a sketchup file -

Looks to me that he joined to ask about 3d printing rather than using Trainz.

I'd like to learn about what you guys do to create you Trainz locomotives as the plastic hobby world is beginning to merge with digital tech. The drawings you use for trainz should be able to be built into 3d models very easily, i'd like to try that

I use 3ds max 2009 to build trainz models, at the same time I'm also researching into CAD which is the 3ds max version of 3d printing models, only difference is the models for printing need to be much higher in detail and polygons to get a smooth look while in trainz you are reducing the polygons as much as possible for better frame rates.

Cheers.
